What is Mercury Studio?
Mercury Studio is a coworking space that provides a beautiful, design-conscious, focused work place for our members, including all of the conveniences of an office and then some: quiet workspace, coffee, tea, kitchenette, wireless Internet, printer, all available 24/7. We are here to encouraging community — a network of professionals open to social and professional collaboration.
We're located at 401 W. Geer Street, cozied up between Motorco and Geer Street Garden. Our building, the one with the pink and blue graffiti, houses our large coworking space, a separate art studio for our two artist members, a separate private office for our workshop members, a meeting and event space (The Back Room), and is the happy home of a NC made goods shop, The Makery at Mercury Studio. Our main entrance is through the orange door in the back, just off the parking lot. Fill out our guest reservation form to stop by and tour the space today!
Looking for a space to host your upcoming private or business event? We have unique and beautiful event and meeting space right in the heart of downtown Durham.
Mercury Studio was founded in 2012 by Katie DeConto and Megan Jones. Since then, we have been working hard to shape this vibrant downtown space to meet the needs of our community. Read our origin story to find out more of the behind the scenes and get a glimpse of where we are headed next.
